There are different learning styles that each student follows and, we need to find that style which suits their education pattern. Be wise to get the faculty whose teaching methodologies is aligned with your needs.
• Materials: It is not necessary to solve 100’s of books at the same time. Choose one and stick to it. Study materials are the tools that provide you with knowledge. Choose the type that matches with your understanding. Not each student is meant for HC Verma. Some may like DC Pandey and others as well.

The system of talent search schemes began in the year 1963 for the NCERT. The purpose of the scheme was to identify talents in students and to motivate them. It covers various fields such as science, medicine, social science, engineering, and law.

To put it straight, some of the main agenda of a talent search program includes the following:

• Providing psychological motivation and the right skill sets for academic and future career success.
• Helping the talented ones to graduate from school to college and from college to university.
• Give training for the appropriate candidates through some postsecondary examinations.  

General Eligibility for a Talent Search Program

There are a few strict eligibility criteria to follow, for joining a talent program and excel in the career. Some of the general and basic norms to check for are listed below:

1. The minimum age to join is 11 years and the maximum range is 27 years.
2. People living below the line of poverty with a value of 150 or less are applicable.
3. Permission for first-generation students only. (parents not educated college or university)
4. Permanent residents of their respective countries.

These evaluations are done and processed further for a few examinations to enter the actual program and activities.

The Primary Mode of Selection

There are two stages to complete the examination, where stage 1 is conducted by the state and stage 2 by the NCERT. Students from class X of reputed schools are eligible to appear in the stage 1 examination.

Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Ability Test (SAT) are 2 of the common examination patterns for students. Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) is also one of the significant entrance tests to move forward.

Initially, the students have to complete a written test for eligibility. After successful completion of the written test, the selected individuals are called upon for an interview.

ALLEN’s Tallentex 2020: Exam will be conducted on 3 dates in 418 cities of the country 1.25 crores prize for talented students

ALLEN Tallentex 2020

In order to encourage the talented students of the country, the announcement for ALLEN’s Tallentex 2020, was inaugurated and poster released by Famous Bollywood Playback Singer Palak Muchhal, Music director Palash Muchhalin presence of Honorable Directors Mr. Govind Maheshwari, Mr. Rajesh Maheshwari, Mr. Naveen Maheshwari, Mr. Brajesh Maheshwari, HOD’s and ALLEN Team Members at SAMRAS SABHAGAR, Jawahar Nagar, Kota. 

ALLEN’s director, Brajesh Maheshwari said that this examination is a platform to bring forward and appreciate the talent of students of the country. This examination for students of class 5th to 10th will be held on three dates this year. For this, the whole country has been divided into seven zones.

The first test under Tallentex will be held on September 29, 2019 for the students of Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Srinagar. For this, the last date of registration will be 19 September 2019. The second test will be on October 13, 2019, for which the last date to register, will be 30 September 2019. The third test will be on October 20, 2019 for which the last date for registration is 30 September 2019. Interested Students can register by filling in the online form at www.tallentex.com. Students can apply offline at Selected centers and ALLEN study centers.

Director Maheshwari said that 575 test centers have been set up in 418 cities of 29 states of the country for this year’s examination. There are multiple choice questions in the examination in which Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology and Logical Mental Ability questions are asked. The test will be conducted for two hours and the medium of the examination will be English. The paper will be based on NCERT’s syllabus. Prize money of 1.25 crore rupees will be given to students on the basis of their performances in the exam. These students will be given scholarship up to 90 percent for the academic session 2020-21.
